Car Hatchlings
05/2023

Car Hatchlings,
Photopolymer Etchings.
A4

‘Car hatchlings’  is a photo etching diptych. This etching diptych considers themes of consumption and regeneration. The etched eggs depict cyborgian car hatchlings and contrast the synthetic and mechanical with the organic symbol of birth and life cycles. These collages combine the defamiliarization of collage with the etching technique to create these surreal prints.
